JVS TRANSMEDIA STORYTELLING ART PROJECT: RESEARCH "Post impressionism"
Post impressionism
Post impressionism is the term coined by the British artist and art critic Roger Fry in 1910 to describe the development of French art since Manet. Fry used the term when he organized the 1910 exhibition Manet and the Post-Impressionists. Post-Impressionists extended Impressionism while rejecting its limitations: they continued using vivid colours, thick application of paint, distinctive brush strokes, and real-life subject matter, but they were more inclined to emphasize geometric forms, to distort form for expressive effect, and to use unnatural or arbitrary colour.

JVS TRANSMEDIA STORYTELLING ART PROJECT- RESEARCH "International style"
International Style
This style began to take shape in the decade from 1920 to 1930 in Europe.
In the late nineteenth century Boga was uncomfortable with the eclecticism and the difference of architectural styles, as it took ornaments and key elements of various styles and periods, with no respect at any time to the relationship between form and function of buildings.

Modernism is a time in our history when traditional values began to change.
This style is based on previous innovations of the constructivist and especially the "elemental fonts" and considers in turn the growing need for international communication.

Fauvismo

ASHANTI TRIBE
My tribe is located in Ghana in the western of Africa, I speak ashanti.
Most of the things I do is to respect the house father.
The Ashanti live in central Ghana in western Africa approximately 300km. away from the coast. The Ashanti are a major ethnic group of the Akans in Ghana, a fairly new nation, barely more than 50 years old. Ghana, previously the Gold Coast, was a British colony until 1957. It is now politically separated into four main parts. Ashanti is in the center and Kumasi is the capital.
To the Ashanti, the family and the mother’s clan are most important. A child is said to inherit the father’s soul or spirit (ntoro) and from the mother a child receives flesh and blood (mogya). This relates them more closely to the mother’s clan. The Ashanti live in an extended family. The family lives in various homes or huts that are set up around a courtyard. The head of the household is usually the oldest brother that lives there. He is chosen by the elders. He is called either Father or Housefather and is obeyed by everyone.
