VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS

                                      VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS
A volcano is a rupture on the crust of a planetary mass object, such as the Earth, which allows hot lava, volcanic ash, and gases to escape from a magma chamber below the surface.
My opinion of the volcanic eruptions is that are very dangerous because the volcanic eruptions can disappear one town and cover it with ashes.
Volcanos produce a number of hazards depending on the type of volcano. Even a volcano that is not erupting can release toxic gasses and cause earthquakes, though major earthquakes are rare.
Volcanos are dangerous to people because:
1. Depending on how explosive the eruption is (which depends on the magma type), and depending on how close a city is to a volcano, the lava (which flows slowly) could burn and set things on fire.
2. The ash could block off the sun, destroying crops and food.
3. If the ash and gases released were breathed in, it could cause lung cancer.
4. Homes can be destroyed. Transportation like airplanes or cars can't be used because the ash would clog the engine and it would stop working.
5. The pyroclastic flow would kill people instantly (inside the flow is intense heat that would burn things alive)
volcanoes appear when two plate boundaries either move away from each other or move closer to each other. New land is made by lava solidifing in gaps in the earth.
But the volcanoes can't appaer just anywhere they can only appear in hot spots, divergent plates and convergent plates
